Frequently Asked QuestionsIs there a dress code?There is no specific dress code for The State Theatre. Most people enjoy dressing up to go to the theatre, but you will see people wearing everything from casual to Sunday best. Can I take a tour of the State Theatre?Yes. To schedule a tour contact the administrative offices at 724-439-1360 or toll free at 800-397-2554. Tours are scheduled depending on the theatre's schedule of events. No tour will be scheduled on a date when there is a production taking place. Do you have a lost & found?Yes. Items that are left at the theatre are kept in our lost and found. Please call 724-439-1360 during regular business hours to see if your item has been turned in. Will every upcoming event be listed on your website?We do not post shows on our schedule until we have a confirmed on-sale date. For some rental or private events, information will not appear on our website. Is smoking allowed?The State Theatre is a non-smoking venue. This rule is strictly enforced. Smoking is allowed in Storey Square. Is seating available in the main lobby?No, there is no seating available in the main lobby. Please Note: Based upon contractual agreements, the auditorium will not be opened until permission has been granted by the performer(s), this is generally one-half hour prior to curtain. What if I’m late?Latecomers will be seated at the discretion of the house manager until intermission. |
